I understand the struggles. After years of writing for the newsletters, it can be hard to find a topic, plus have to consider what other people are writing each month for them. Can be difficult to come up with more topics to keep writing them. I also had a blog about writing years ago when it was very common to post on places like blogger.

Sometimes it helps to go back to previous topics with new directions or perspectives. Also, have maybe you could check out what some of the other writers have posted like on some writing podcasts. Not an exact copy but maybe they can spark inspiration for ideas for your blog.
