If you're here in the USA today was Labor Day. It started back in the late 1880's 1890's as a way to acknowledge all the hard work our laborers do and to bring attention to the need for better working conditions. Now, it's know as the unofficial end of the summer season.
I took the boy shopping at the outlet malls in Tejon. It was much more compact, but we found everything he was looking for. Husband made a seafood boil with corn, potatoes, shrimp, lobster, scallops and sausage. Yum!
