Thanks for responding -- I'd hoped to avoid using any WdC ML code, since it would imply creating a specific WdC ML version and I'm unlikely to manage disparate versions.

I've pretty much given up on the docx feature, since it seems to cause more problems than it solves.

I can cut-paste from my native editor (Google Docs) which removes all formatting (italics) -- unfortunate, but better than having multiple versions.

I'll try the

 tag on the next thing I upload and see if that works.
