I forgot to mention in the review that it was totally a book about books - she is a translator by trade and her trip to Provence was to translate a book from the Provencal dialect to English, and there was a lot of poetry involved, as it was a poetry book she translated on the trip, though the book she was translating before going to France was very interesting too - it's what encouraged her to be brave and finally grow into herself. I could have chosen May for this too, or February, but I'm sure there will be plenty of others for May and I've finished February.  Thank you for this challenge, Rachel!
