Review: YOUTH

Thought-provoking, highly perturbing, and with a seriously twisted kicker ending [depending on one's interpretation], I think Isaac Asimov's short story "Youth" showcases the breadth of his talents. This is a Short Story, but it has Universe-wide implications, for Earthlings and Far Beyond. Asimov also leaps ahead Into the Future, demonstrating consequences of Apocalypse, while simultaneously philosophizing on the Nature and Progress of Cultures. Truly, this is not a story you can just leap into and surf: this one is DEEP. Rereading and rereading and Rereading are in store here, in order to fully peel this fabulous onion.
