An Exercise for Comedic Stories. |
Hi, Great idea for a forum. I usually make things up when I write fiction but half the time just need to write it as a diary as I come from a pretty strange family anyway. We all have a good sense of humour and often play jokes on each other. A couple of weeks ago I put a note in my daughters pencil case without her seeing it (She's 14). It had all hearts and flowers on and said 'Mummy loves you'. I thought she'd probably see it and squirm then hide it quick, but one of her schoolfriends asked to borrow a pen so she just handed the case over unopened. They were in a class of about 30 teens all doing Maths at the time. Of course this friend handed it all around the class and everyone had a good laugh. My daughter got her revenge though a couple of days later. Our house has a big window in the front living room. There's a garden with a low fence outside and then a busy main road. We have a lacy, net curtain hanging in the window and my daughter had hung a row of my underwear between the net curtain and the window, so it could be easily seen from the outside but not from the inside. Luckily she'd picked clean ones! They were there all day and I only knew about it when she hurried in from school and took them down before her friends passed by. She then told my 14 year old neice who did the same to my sister. Floss |
