"A Problem Page For All!"

Hi girls! Jasper and Nathan's computers both have viruses and they're totally screwed. But I had to post something to you all to apologize for my absence! I'm using Nathan's old, cracked laptop just for now.

I saw "Quilters" on Friday and last night. It was gorgeous. It's hard for me to talk about it. The music was beautiful, the story heart-breaking and heart-warming and funny and extremely intense, and argh, I'm tingly with jealousy and sadness. But I admit, I don't fit in with the rest of the girls. They're all either 12 years old or 45 years old, all so happy and sweet and smiley. I'm neither of those ages and certainly not sugar sweet! But it enrages me that they picked some girls/women to be in the play who cannot sing! It's baffling! Nathan came to see it with me last night and was puzzled, too.

I'm sorry that I can't reply to many of your posts! Tomorrow I'll go to the library at the CR and write my fingers off, I promise.

Ellie: THANK YOU for your package!!! I spent the entire day yesterday reading your three letters and going through all the goodies you sent. I was feeling so sad and down yesterday about "Quilters" and all you sent really made my day and made me forget my misery! Thank you thank you gracias merci venaka!!!
