Is any place safe really?

The guy that killed Pim Fortuyn wasn't part of a group. The guy that killed Theo might have something to do with some terrorist group. He recently had a lot of contact with an 18 (!!!!) year old boy that was arrested last August, he was suspected of planning a terrorist attack.

Most countries see Holland as a small, fun and safe country, and I have no idea why! People get killed here all the time, for no reason really.

I don't feel unsafe here though, I still bike to work at 11 pm in the dark etc, I don't want to live my life in fear, but I also don't feel I have a reason to be afraid.
I don't know, I think it's relatively safe here.. People get killed everywhere, and compared to other countries, it isn't that bad here.
