You stare worriedly into the distance, a pirate ship? God forbid! As you think back of all the pirate stories you've ever heard, how entire ships are set aflame with the crew on board, and how other crews have been killed through torture, the only remaining traces being a floating body part here or there, what the sharks didn't get, you nervously begin to bite your finger nails. Then remind yoursef of that you promised to give that habit up three years ago.
You look around, where is Thomas? You wish that he, or the captain, or anyone for that matter would come up deck near you to inform you of what is going on.
The ship has drawn nearer during the passing time. You now are able to observe the lack of a flag flying- not a good sign.
You sigh and look around. Surprisingly, the deck is deserted. There isn't a soul around. Alone, and feeling alone, on deck you stand and watch the approaching ship with dread wishing you could melt into the boards or sink beneath the waves.
