Under the pews

"The pews are better. Let's run under them, she'll be slowed down." Aki said.

"You sure?" Lex said, surprised at her sudden taking charge.

She didn't answer. Aeris' foot slammed straight towards Aki, and she dodged with catlike reflexes, and ran straight under the pews. Lex followed, with Aeris literally right behind them. She would occasionally aim a step that would certainly crush both of them at once, but then hesitate for a second so they could escape. She was prolonging it. Her soles slapped against the hard wood floor, causing it to rattle and nearly knock the two of them down. She even kicked a bit at Lex, almost sending him flying.

"These are some extremely quick insects.......but I can get you anytime..." Aeris said with a smile. She was cut short as they barely made it under the pews. Aeris could not follow them there and watched them for a bit. "Smart, too....."

The two of them kept running, while Aeris thought the situation out.
