The sole of the shoe is taller than you, but with a determined leap you get aboard, coming to rest in front of the big toe of this woman's left foot.
You have no time for rest, though. The dance continues apace, so you are forced to wedge yourself between her toes to prevent yourself from being shaken loose. The smell isn't nearly as bad as you would have thought; maybe being smaller changes perceptions in more ways than one? There's no denying the fact that the warm flesh surrounding you is comforting given the terrors you've experienced recently. You could be forgiven for falling asleep.
You awaken some time later, still between two toes and still, as far as you can tell, unnoticed by the owner of the feet. The world still swirls and thumps around you, however, as some serious walking is done. It is with a chill in your heart that you notice, through your motion sickness, that you are no longer on the dance floor, or yet even inside the bar! The woman appears to be walking along a street in the dark, accompanied (as you can see from the corner of your eye) by another woman, who seems to be wearing trainers in place of sandals.
Don't panic, you tell yourself, there's a way out of this.
