"Bait"

Kagome and Sango didn't like waiting like this. But the rumors of missing young women left them little choice in the matter. As they walked through the field in the dead of night, they were concerned about appearing too vulnerable. Inuyasha and Miroku were hiding in the shadows.

They had heard a story of women that disappeared in this field. Rumor had it that a monster was responsible. All they knew was that several women had disappeared.

And so, Kagome and Sango were acting as "bait" to draw out the monster.

And they waited...
