Bob begins to explore, forgetting about the duck

Bob looks around and makes his way into a bedroom which has a bathroom attached on one side. As he's looking around he hears a splash from the bathroom and goes in to investigate. A 19-year-old girl is in the bathtub. Most of her is hidden by a huge mass of bubbles, but the tip of a blue tail is visible. Bob is shocked. Obviously despite her normal looking face she is a mermaid. What's a mermaid doing in this creepy haunted house? Just then the duck walks past him and jumps in the tub. The girl starts petting him and says to Bob. "Hello Bob. Care to get to know me better?" Bob is unsure of what to do. Should he walk away, mermaids to exist right? This isn't real. Or does he talk to her a little and try to find out what's going on here.
