She looked around. There were a few humans walking around in the distance. Would she approach one of them for help? She felt really too shy to approach any of them, yet it was difficult to see what other options she had. Her crystal wand had run out of magical power, so she could not conjure up even just a few berries to eat. Oh, what was she to do?
Then Elith caught sight of an approaching stranger, who apparently did not notice her. Dressed in nothing from the waist up, the extraordinarily handsome, bearded and athletically built human had beautiful sapphire eyes and long, frost-white hair that draped down to his shoulders. It was hard to tell how old he was, but he was certainly no younger than thirty. He held a long staff in one hand, which seemed to be made of wood and had unusual writings carved into it all over. Somehow Elith felt a soft, reassuring warmth emanating from this man. It wasn't just the benign expression on the face, but something more. Perhaps something magical.
