Stepping forward the Second Child stood at her full height, placing a hand on her scale and measuring her heaight to Rei's. "You get taller? I only come to your chin now." Rising from the debris of Asuka's shopping supplies Shinji began dusting himself off, listening in on the conversation between his friends.
Batting her eyes in slight surprise Rei did the same action as Asuka, realizing she had indeed gotten taller if not by a few inches. "Perhaps I grew......." The blue haired beauty muttered listlessly, as if her thoughts were galaxies away.
Gritting her teeth the fiery Asuka quickly slammed her fist into what she thought was a wall, only to accidently punch Shinji dead in the face, quickly knocking him back on the ground.
Despite her friends possible concussion Asuke didn't even acknowledge him, instead merely muttering under her breath how she must get taller.
Before this rather unique event went any further Asuka's cell phone went off. Answering it Asuka heard Ritsuko's voice, "Asuke get here ASAP for an experiment. Gendo's orders!" And as quickly as she called Ritsuko hung up.
Sighing Asuka placed her phone away, bending over to the bleeding Shinji and shoving a piece of paper into his face. "Be sure to buy these for me!"
Seeing the large scroll like list Shinji's eyes popped out of their sockets, "With what money?!"
"Yours of course!"
With her order Asuka turned around and rushed away, probably wanting to get back to her shopping as soon as possible.
Disgruntled Shinji felt something else come near his face, Rei's hand. "Are you okay?" She asked in her robotic voice.
Grabbing onto her hand Shinji hoisted himself up, again dusting himself off. Looking up at Rei Shinji saw what Asuka meant, Rei had to be six inches to a foot taller than him, it felt weird looking at his towering friend like that.
