Tohru Honda looked upon the dawn of another school day as she left her tent clad in her school uniform. She always saw the positive side to things and took such joy in a bright sunny day. She peeped back into the tent to say goodbye to the picture of her mother before setting off.
It's just as well that Tohru saw the bright side of life. She was a giantess! She stood around one-hundred feet high and wore size 80 shoes (468.75 in Japanese shoe size). Here's a brief history of her kind on Earth:
For hundreds of years giants and humans lived together on Earth with an edgy relationship. Oftentimes one experienced discrimination from the other with severe consequences. However, after the Second World War, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights allowed the two races to live together comfortably. Unfortunately the War had left the world empty of male giants, so giantesses had to marry and breed with ordinary men. Curiously enough, no matter what, a giantess would always give birth to humans and only occasionally gave birth to a giantess.
Tohru's mother was a giantess and was, in fact, the last giant in her family. This made Tohru the last giant on her mother's side.
