Five baby dragons are on a journey for survival.
This choice: ...take a nap.  •  Go Back...
Chapter #3

Nap time.

    by: Unknown
On your way back to the nest, you heard and went to several more small inattentive animals and, quietly sneaking up on them, tried to get them but Draco, (the white speedy one) ran in and ate every last one of them right before you were going to jump out and get them. After your failed attempt at hunting and getting a full meal, you disappointingly decide to head back to the nest and get some rest.

Little known to you, the nutrients from that small rabbit were having a direct impact on your size! Your dragon metabolism was taking these nutrients and growing you while your metabolism is working the hardest, while you were asleep. Albeit, it was a small increase in size, one inch taller and one inch longer at the absolute maximum, it was a fairly noticeable change, and being the smart one out of the group, you will be the first to figure this out.

Choice 1: The Next Morning: Still unable to talk and have proper cohesive thought other than knowing you need to eat, sleep, and leave waste when necessary, you(Jade) notice the change but do not think anything of it. Bigger animals appear.

Choice 2: One Week Later: Now being able to talk and have proper cohesive thought, you bring up the concept of the growth to your siblings. Bigger animals appear.

Choice 3: One Month Later: After one month of survival, all of the dragons are still alive and now 2ft tall and 2ft 6in long, you (Jade) finally bring up their growth in a conversation. Bigger animals (preditorial)/humans (non preditorial) appear.

These small Dragons do not need to eat everyday, being able to survive on things such as a small rabbit for over three months without eating another bite. I, the writer, am keeping the story like this to to keep their growth steady and to not have them be massive while still infants. They can still grow with age, not just after eating.

You have the following choices:

1. The next morning.

*Noteb*
2. One Week later

*Noteb*
3. One Month Later

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
