Darkness has too much free time. Or does he?

"I know you too well Leon, you're too predictable. Guess what me and Shade have been doing every night for you?" Leon shrugged, he never really thought about why Shade had been really tired every morning for the past few weeks. Darkness seemed distracted for a second, then he hissed "Good morning Shade, your rider's over here if you're wondering, just come over here. He knows that you know that I knew that you knew"

Shade walked over, placing his tail protectively in front of Leon "What?" Darkness shook his head "Leon knows that you know that I knew that you knew about him. Would you like me to repeat it slower, or should I go into deeper details that even a hatchling like you could understand?" Shade growled "No, I think I'm fine with how you said it" Darkness laughed "You think? That's a new trick, how long did it take you to learn that one Shade?" Shade was growling louder, usually he would pounce by now but Leon wasn't in the safest spot at the moment "I'm just kidding, now you two run off, we have several 'star' missions involving several large gryphon nests" Darkness hissed as he climbed out the entrance to the cave and flew off toward the mountains

Leon gulped, even Alia wasn't allowed to tackle star missions, mainly because her dragon wasn't fit for 'four on one combat' and a few other reasons. "Someday, we'll be able to do that". Shade looked down at Leon and licked him "Someday we will, but for now let's focus on you. You actually are pretty good"
