As the alarm sounded, Melissa quickly got up and out of bed. Melissa was an excellent student, earning straight A's thru high school, which got her a scholarship to the college of her choice.

Melissa had always been fond of animals, and decided to major in veterinary medicine. Her parents realized her dedication to the field and encouraged her to follow her dreams. She hoped to one day run her own veterinary hospital.
