It was morning, and the dragon child was waking up slowly. He had hd a rough night. He was born, his parents abandoned him, his father kicked him and called him a monster, and he will have to fend for himself. The dragon child had the intelligence to think these thoughts, because his demon mother increased his age rate just for last night. So, the dragon child had the mind of a five year old. The demon mother did this, because she knew that Bowhan would abandon the child, and this would give the child a better chance fending for itself. However, the spell only worked for the first night. The dragon child would age at a normal rate from now on.

Before he opened his eyes, he could smell something. He was part dragon and had all the abilities of a dragon. Well, he had some of them, because he was young. Dragons have a excelent sense of smell. So, the dragon child had a good nose, as well. The dragon child could smell a human in the cave. At first he hoped it was his father, but the stranger did not smell like his father.

The dragon child started opening his eyes. Suddenly, a net was thrown on him. This scared the toddler, dragon child, and he panicked. The dragon child thrashed and tried its best to escape, but he only grew more tangled with the net. As this happened, the dragon child heard laughing from a strange man. The dragon child looked up at the stranger as the man laughed, "You can't escape that net no matter how much you try."

The dragon child saw that the man had many different weapons on his belt and a whip in his hand. The dragon grew frightened by this and feared what the man's intentions were for the dragon. The man smile with an evil and wickid smile. "You'll make the perfect slave or pet for the right buyer, but before I can do that, I have to teach this stupid dragon to learn to obey humans and show him that humans are his masters."

The dragon didn't want to be a slave. Then he thought, "The man thinks I'm a dragon. If I show him that I'm half-human, he might show mercy." It was worth a try. So, the dragon child begged to the stranger, "Please! Don't make me a slave! Please, sir, I don't want to be a slave."
