Dan got a ring from his cell phone. He looked down at his cell phone and saw it was a missed call. He pressed play and it was his boss Mr. Rickson. Mr. Rickson owned the town’s most popular restaurant. His restaurant is called Divine Food is three stories high. The first level is a bakery/ candy/ chocolate store which is popular during holidays. The second floor is causal dinning and the third floor is high end dinning. His wife’s family are the main cooks running the kitchens and bakery. His wife and her siblings were trained in Europe in the of the best culinary institutions. Dan’s mom was old sorority sisters with the owner’s wife and got Dan and job interview and Dan aced it.
“Dan I was going over the comments from customers and the accounting books and security cameras. The good news is that I feel you are ready for a job promotion and a big pay raise. The bad news is that I caught some employees stealing money from the restaurant and had them fired, so you would have to put longer hours in as we are a bit understaffed due to the loss of former employees. Call me back when you can and have deiced if you want the job promotion. You will be higher in the food chain and will have better benefits since you are a very hard worker and very loyal. You can also have your pick of position in the restaurant as some are open due to the loss of the former employees. Just think about it?” said Mr. Rickson on the message.
Dan was happy that this great opportunity as he was in a huge cross words as he weighed the pros was that he would get more work experience and better pay while the cons are that he would have less free time and put more work time for the restaurant.
Dan got out his cellphone and called his boss
“Hello Mr. Rickson, this is Dan and I have decided to take the job promotion. “said Dan as he grinned with glee.
“That’s great stop by tomorrow and we can work out the details. “said Mr. Rickson and then he hung up.
Dan turned off his phone and had a huge grin on his face.
