You decide to go back to the house and get Zack. You step out of the shed and run into Katy.
She asks, "What are you doing there Darryl. Never noticed this door before."
She pokes her head in the door and starts looking around. "Wow Darryl, this is so cool." she picks up the notebook and starts reading it. She looks at you and then at Julie who is standing in the door way.
Julie looks around and says, “this is so cool." Julie walks over and starts reading the notebook with Katy.
This is not what you wanted. Now everybody knows about this. Well this is just great. I was going to get Zack and test it out.
Julie looks at you and says, "Why don't you and Katy switch." It would be perfect. You think what could it hurt.
You and Katy both climb into a pod. Julie hits the red button on the central control panel. There is a brilliant light and you step out of the machine. You are so much more petite. You feel a little dizzy. You look in the mirror. You are Katy. Katy pushes you out of the way.
She stands in front of the mirror and flexes. Then both her and Julie start laughing. You start getting mad because she is imitating little gestures that you do and then they both start laughing.
"Knock it off you guys!" you yell.
Julie and Katy in unison say "Knock it off you guys!"
You go over to put your sister who is now you in a headlock. She picks you up and gets you into a bear hug and you can't break free. You can't believe how helpless you feel.
"Let me go." you gasp.
"This feels so good. You don't know how long I've been waiting to do that." Your old body snickers at you. She tosses you down.
"I've never done anything like that to you." you say almost ready to cry.
"You don't remember in the 4th grade, when you did that to me."
You look at your old self with tears in your eyes, "We were kids."
Katy in your body leans down and says, "Cry, cry, cry run away little Katy go tattle to mommy."
You are sobbing now. You would never treat Katy like this, why does she have such a beef with you all of a sudden.
"Can't handle the testosterone, what’s the problem." You yell at her. It surprised you how shrill your voice was. You always hated that when Katy did that.
Katy in your old body gives you shove, Turns to Julie and says, "Let’s go to the party tonight." You sit on the ground as you watch Julie and Katy walk out the door.
You sit on the ground and compose yourself. You decide to make a plan.
