With the note book in your hand you sit down in the pod and open it up. You start glancing over hand written instruction and diagrams. A number of problems and cures. It seems who ever built this machine had been experimenting with it for years working out bugs. This leads you to wonder why they abandoned the project. The place is covered with dust like its been abandoned for a year or two. Flipping back to the beginning of the note book you decide to read it in more detail.
Just then the door of the pod slides shuts and a brilliant flash of light and you pass out.
When you come to the pod door is open and the notebook is no longer in your hand.
"The Heck!" you exclaim as you realize your body has totally changed. You go back over to the mirror to discover you are now.
