This choice: Tidus jumps in and fights the fiends • Go Back...Chapter #6"Hey are you alright?" by: Unknown The fiends are moving too fast, and you brace yourself for the attack, when all of the sudden, someone you recognize jumps in and attacks the fiends.
"Huh? Tidus? I am so glad to see you." You say, surprised.
"I don't know how you know my name but..." Tidus draws his blade and blocks the next hit from a fiend. "...I can't let anyone die, especially not by a fiend!" Tidus slashes with his blade, destroying a few of the fiends.
"Are you alright?" Tidus asks taking your hand and running a short distance away.
"Yeah, I am, do you mind if I borrow your blade for a second?" You ask.
"What? You don't look like you can wield one of these." Tidus remarks with a grin.
"Don't worry, I'll bring it right back." You say, using some feminine charm in the process, which makes Tidus blush a bit.
"Well, alright, but be careful with it, after all, it is pretty sharp." Tidus replies, handing you the sword he got from Auron that Jecht gave to him to give to Tidus (Tidus doesn't have Brotherhood yet) and turning his face to stop you from seeing him blush.
"Thanks, now..." You walk a bit towards the center of the room and then wipe your hand over the blade. "... LIMIT BREAK!" You shout. A tidal wave of water then floods into the room surrounding you, but not touching Tidus since you don't want to attack him. The fiends don't know what to do as then begin to panic. You soon were towering above them, and you feel like you are standing on something. You look down to see a shadow under your feet, holding you up. "Hello..." You wave your hand in the air summoning up a ball of water "...and Goodbye!" With those words you shot the water at the fiends with a slash from the sword, leaving them no room to move or escape. They drown in the water. You then slowly return to the ground with your body being exhausted from using the Limit Break, you finally make it to the ground and begin to collapse, but Tidus catches you in his arms.
"You're okay now, so take a rest." Tidus says, and you happily reply with a smile, then pass out in his arms. The next thing you know, you're waking up in a bed with Lulu sitting in a chair besides you.
"Huh where am I" You ask feeling your head due to you suddenly having a headache from probably sitting up too fast.
"Easy there Yuna you should get some more rest." Lulu says lying you back down. "After all you did just become a summoner and somehow tapped into a unknown Aeon, although I have to say, it was surprising to learn that fiends were in the temple."
'An Unknown Aeon.' You think to yourself? 'Is that what it was?' You look at her. "Man, this sure is one heck of a head ache." You groan out loud.
Lulu walks away, then returns to you shortly afterwards, holding onto a cup which has a brown liquid in it. 'Probably tea.' You think to yourself as Lulu hands you the cup of brown liquid.
"Go ahead." Lulu coaxed. "Drink up and you'll feel a lot better Yuna." Lulu says with a smile. You smell the scent of the tea, and it smells like a cappuccino from your home town brewery.
"It smells heavenly." You comment making Lulu blush in embarrassment before taking a sip of the sweet smelling tonic. The taste is unexpected, but not disgusting, in fact, it is actually quite good. "Mmm taste like hot coco on a cold winter night." You say enjoying the taste.
"I'm glad you like it Yuna." Lulu says with a cheerful laugh, which is rare for her. "By the way, what is hot coco?"
You then come off you high of the taste and snap back to reality. "Well Hot coco is this really tasty drink that you drink when it is really cold outside. Here let me make some for you. "You say with a smile. Lulu helps you up and the two of you walk towards what appears to be a kitchen. Alright now please leave the room Lulu." You say to her.
"Huh? Why, Yuna?" She asks you suspiciously.
"Well, the recipe is a secret, so please..." You ask.
"Oh, I understand. Very well Yuna, I'll leave you to make this hot coco." Lulu says, exiting the kitchen. "I won't let anyone enter until you say it's okay." Lulu says before finally exiting the room.
"Alright, time to make hot coco." You say, spitting out a piece of your liquid self, which quickly turns into your regular body, you then shift your main body to the real you and begin to cook, with Yuna handing you tools and ingredients. After a few minutes, you had completed the hot coco and made enough for everyone.
"Let's see, one for Wakka, one for Kimahri, one for Tidus, one for me, and one for Lulu." You say, going over your check list. You put a little of your liquid self in Lulu's cup. Your original body then turns into liquid and returns to Yuna's body. "Alright everyone, the hot coco is done." You say. Lulu is the first to walk into the kitchen, and she picks up the tray that was holding all of the hot coco. You and Lulu then exit then kitchen, and you see that all your teammates are waiting. Wakka is sitting in a chair, fiddling with his Blitzball, Kimahri is near the door, watching some birds outside flying; Tidus is lying on the bed, but sits up when he sees you coming in. All of you then sit down at a table as you start to hand out the hot coco. "One for Tidus." You say, handing a cup to Tidus. "One for Wakka." As you hand the cup to him, he says thank you and smells the scent of the strange liquid which he has never heard of before. "One for Kimahri." You say, walking over to Kimahri who is still by the doorway.
Kimahri just gives a little smile since it isn't at the point where he starts talking. He takes the cup and takes a small sip, and you can tell by the look on his face that he likes it. You smile and return to the table where you pick up Lulu's cup of hot coco and take a small breather. Since part of you is in it, you know you have the right one.
"Alright Lulu, here's your hot coco." You say with a smile, handing Lulu her cup, which if looked at carefully, could be seen to have a tiny bit more in it than the others, but nobody notices. Lulu sips on the coco, and you happily walk back to pick up you own cup.
As you pick up your cup, Tidus lifts up his cup and says. "A toast to Yuna and this delicious drink!"
"I second that man." Wakka says taking another sip of his hot coco.
"I third that Yuna, this drink is delicious! You have to show me how to make it some time." Lulu says with a smile.
"Maybe some other time, but right now how's about we call it a night and we can set out on our journey tomorrow." You say with everybody seconding the idea.
"Alright then, it is settled, we set off tomorrow." Wakka declares, making it official.
You smile and finish you cup of hot coco, then go to the bedroom where you then fall asleep shortly afterwards.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
