Without saying a word, she lifted her foot off my cheek and walked away from my sight. I tried to stand up but Raven kicked me back down. I managed to lean on my left forearm and got a good view of Raven. She had her back turned and was facing the mirror that was against the wall. I saw her reach for something on the table. It was a small, scary-looking oval mirror. She held it in one hand and walked back to me.
Raven bent down and grabbed my cheeks with one hand. With the other hand, she held the mirror up to my face but I turned away. I knew exactly where it would take me. Raven slapped me hard in the face and grabbed my cheeks again. This time I decided to look into the mirror. But instead of seeing my own reflection, I saw a demon staring at me. It opened its mouth.
Raven let go of my face and I was instantly sucked into the mirror.
I woke up in a daze and a bruise on my head. I must've fallen. I stood up and looked around. I was in the dimension that was "in Raven's head". It looked like space, but mixed with red. I was standing on a wide, floating strip of gray land. There were black ravens cawing at me from dead trees.
"Hi there!" said a voice from behind me. She made me jump and I spun around to see who it was.
It was Raven, dressed in a pink robe with a hood, exactly the same as the Raven that sent me here. But something seemed odd about her. For one, she was wearing pink instead of blue. And two, she had a huge smile on her face.
"Raven?" I asked to make sure.
"Yup! And who are you?" she said.
I still had a puzzled look on my face. Then I remembered what Raven told me. This place is her mind, with all parts of her. This girl in pink must be one of her "parts". I wasted no time. I asked the pink Raven how to get out of here. She said to the other end of this strip of land and warned me by saying she wouldn't recommend going if she were me.
But I had no other choice. Though worried of what I knew what was in store for me, I walked with pink Raven through the first portal: the garden.
