Chapter #3

Trick for you, Treat for them.

Before you can say anything you feel your stomach cramp and all your breath seems to leave your body. You look at the girls but the are standing right where they were. You reach for your stomach thinking you are going to be sick as you double over. When you look back up you notice the strangest thing. You are staring at Samantha and Esther at eye level.

"What.. what's happening?" you ask as they both seem to get taller and taller.

"Well we did say trick or treat Mark.", Esther says to you as you pass their knees getting smaller.

"Yeah Mark, but it looks like it's Trick AND Treat tonight. You get the trick and we get the treat." Samantha says as she giggles.

You look up and can see their legs only now as they are standing so close to you. You try to back up and trip over a straw you left laying on the floor earlier.

You land on the floor now only an inch tall. You look up and see Samantha reaching down towards you, her huge hand slowly getting closer and closer before it seals around your tiny body.

"Hello there Mark. Looks like me and Sam are going to have a great snack about midnight tonight.", Esther says as she puts you in the witches cauldron she is toteing for candy.

You land in the middle of some tootsie rolls, lollipops, gummybears, and .... oh.. wait now that can't be... it is "Torrey?", you say as you see your naked neighbor laying across the candy floor from you with a towel laying beside her, tears streaming down her face.
