Chapter #3

run in the feild

    by: Unknown
"I think we should run around in the field. At least we'll catch some good wind," Alicey suggested.

"Well, I guess," Mare mumbled. She was sighing. "But next time, I get to choose."

"Fair. Now come on! Catch me, Ms. Nolegs!"

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

"It means you're too slow for your own good," taunted Alicey. She already had a galloping headstart.

"Grrrrrr..." Mare growled. "You'll be a REAL nolegs if I catch up to you!"

"Yeah, IF you catch up to me!" This irritated Mare greatly.

"Why Youuuuuuuuu...!!!"

Mare immediately took off after Alicey at full speed. The breeze was a powerful one, allowing their manes to sail with the wind as though they were a part of it. Shockingly enough, to Alicey's surprise, Mare was getting close to being neck-and-neck with her. As soon as she noticed this she began to push her legs to their physical limits. And in response, Mare was doing the same. Their competitive natures allowed them to feel a sense of speed completely unfamiliar to them. In the hopes that any depressing feelings would slow Mare down, Alicey threw another taunt.

"Not good enough, Nolegs! And you won't ever be good enough with that weight of yours!"

"Oh don't be pissy about the fact that I'm close to you!" (No, not sexually)

"Just be happy that you're having good luck today!"

"Good luck?!" Mare was insulted. "Whatever. I'll be letting you know what good luck you're going to need!"

Alicey started to slow down as she breathed a bit harder - a lot of oxygen had flown by her. And she began to breathe even harder due to the anger she was feeling because Mare had passed her. Alicey's willpower would never let Mare beat her in a competition, but her body's physical limits would. After a few more minutes of nonstop galloping had passed, Alicey had to stop - she was breathless. Meanwhile, Mare still had it in her to keep going, albeit at a much slower speed.

"Well then, it's pretty obvious who the real 'Nolegs' is, isn't it?" Mare spat.

"Shutup! Like I said, luck was on your side today."

"Yeah, you just wish." Mare turned around and moved towards Alicey. "By the way, you basically said earlier that I was fat."

"Because you are!"

"And that, I don't appreciate!"

"Like I care, FATTY!!!" Things were about to get ugly. Despite what Alicey had been saying about Mare, yes she does have some extra weight on her, but not enough to be considered fat.

"Oooooooooofffffff!" Mare stomped her front hooves hard. "Girl, you just REALLY want to see my bad side!"

Bum and Don were watching the two girls go at it with colorful language. Both of them were chewing their hay slowly with their eyes wide. Neither of them new that females had it in them to sound so sinister.

"Sexy as always," Don mentioned.

Bum followed up, "Mmmhmmmm..."

They both swallowed their hay at the same time.
