This choice: Tamara, Andrew's girlfriend • Go Back...Chapter #7Tamara, Andrew's girlfriend by: Michelle   “Uh oh!” Sara said as she peeked through the window, “It’s Tamara! What is she doing here?”
Grace pulls Andrew away from her breastfeeding nipple and looks at the tiny baby in her arms, “What is this all about? Did you tell your girlfriend to come by?”
Andrew of course couldn’t talk. He had text his girlfriend Tamara a few hours ago when he had a suspicion his Aunt Grace and Mom were going to trick him into using the magic medallion. Now that Andrew was a newborn baby girl, he barely had any dexterity. He was only able to give a smile and some drool dripped down.
Like normal, Tamara let herself in. She walked into the living room and saw Grace holding a tiny baby. Tamara was surprised, “OMG! You already had your baby? I thought you weren’t due for a few more weeks?”
Grace and Sara knew the situation was going to be hard to explain given that Grace still had her very pregnant belly with the real baby inside. Tamara looked at the tiny baby and smiled, “She is soooo cute! Can I hold her?”
Grace handed Andrew to Tamara and tried to hide her belly. As Tamara cooed and giggled with the baby. After a few minutes of holding the infant, Tamara asked, “Where is Andrew? We were supposed to hang out today. He hasn’t answered my texts all morning?”
Grace and Sara both looked at each other with nervous faces. Tamara was confused, “Wait a second…Why do you still look pregnant?” Tamara’s eyes got wide and she looked at the tiny baby girl in her arms,”OMG??!!? Andrew??”
Andrew did his best to fuss and wiggle to let Tamara know who he really was. Tamara quickly figured out the baby girl in her arms was really her boyfriend. Last night, Andrew had mentioned the plan to Tamara about Aunt Grace and Mom turning him into a newborn. Tamara was shocked to realize the baby girl in her arms was really her boyfriend. Tamara panicked, “OMG! I can’t believe you two actually made him do this!” As Tamara yelled at Sara and Grace, she accidentally lost her grip. Tamara dropped the infant. All three women watched in shock as the baby’s head hit the ground.
Andrew fell to the floor and immediately started bawling. Grace quickly picked Andrew up and started freaking out, “OMG!?? Are you okay Andrew?”
Andrew couldn’t stop crying from being dropped. He was confused at what happened. For the next few minutes, everybody tried to communicate with him. They were desperately trying to see if he was okay. Andrew was in so much pain that he couldn’t communicate back. The three women started panicking. Tamara felt terrible that she dropped the baby girl. Tamara adked, “Where is the medallion? Turn him back to normal now! “
Sara explained, “It hasn’t been 12 hours yet! We can’t!
Grace comforted the crying baby, “What should we do? We can’t leave Andrew crying like this! What if something happened to him….I mean her? We can’t risk something going wrong! We need to bring Andrew to a doctor!”
All three women were in shock and didn’t know what to do. They were all worried Andrew was seriously hurt and didn't know what to do. Without many options, they jumped into the car. 5 minutes later they pulled up to the hospital. Grace was holding Andrew. Andrew was still dazed from the fall and crying. Grace got nervous, “Wait a second? Who are we going to say this baby girl is? I’m 9 months pregnant! There is no way they are going to believe she is mine!”
Sara agreed, “You are right! I’ll say she is my baby girl!”
Grace shook her head, “That won’t work! You had a hysterectomy 3 years ago! They won’t believe she is yours!”
Grace and Sara looked at Tamara. Tamara shook her head, “No way! I can’t say she is mine! I’m still in high school! How could I have hidden a pregnancy this whole time??”
All 3 women bickered back and forth about how to explain who the baby girl was. Seeing how much Andrew was still crying, Grace finally yelled, “Andrew needs to see a doctor now!” Grace opened the car door and got out. She whispered back, “I’ll just hand her to a nurse and say I found her at the park crying! It’s only 4 more hours until Andrew can use the medallion! In the meantime while Andrew gets medical treatment, we should be able to come up with a plan!”
Tamara quickly jumped out of the car and grabbed the crying baby girl, "Wait a second! I'll do it! I'll tell them I was babysitting for the neighbors and accidentally dropped her! It will be more believable if I do it! Tamara grabbed the crying baby from Grace and added, "...Plus...It's sort of what really happened! I want to make sure Andrew is okay!" Tamara ran into the hospital carrying the infant. She handed the baby girl to the nearest nurse. A few minutes later, Tamara was back in the car. With a nervous look, she asked, “Okay...What now?”
