Tim was excited for the birthday party. He looked out his window and saw that lots of girls were starting to show up to his neighbor’s house. Tim yelled to his 8 year old daughter, “Jillian…Allison’s party is starting! You better get over there sweetie!”
Jillian ran downstairs carrying a present and kissed her father goodbye. She said, “I’ll be home tomorrow Daddy!” After all, it was a sleepover and all the girls would be staying the night. Jillian went out the back door to join Allison’s party next door.
Meanwhile, Tim went to his neighbor’s front door and walked inside. He didn’t need to knock because Allison’s father was Tim’s best friend, Ken. Tim saw Ken’s wife first and smiled, “Where is the medallion? I’m ready for some fun!” Tim pulled out a golf outfit and explained, “I stole this from a golf pro. I can’t wait to have his body and finally beat your husband and golf!”
Miranda laughed, “That was your big plans for the medallion today? Now that makes sense. Ken brought home a shirt worn from some muscular guy to get bigger. He probably thought it would help him hit the golf ball farther.”
Tim nodded, “It was my idea. I’m a single father Miranda! You are watching my daughter until tomorrow afternoon right? I finally have some time to use the medallion and have some fun! I can’t wait to be better than Ken at golf! Where is he anyways? Our tee time is in 20 minutes! Has he used the medallion yet? I can’t wait to see what body he chose!”
Miranda cracked a grin, “Uh…Yes he used the medallion already. But there is no way he could get away with golfing today. I thought he was going to let you know about the change of plans?”
Tim rolled his eyes, “Change of plans? What are you talking about?”
Miranda shook her head, “He was supposed to let you know about the mix-up. Maybe he thought it would be easier this way if you didn’t know.”
“Mix-up? What mix-up?” Tim asked.
Miranda explained, “There have been a few problems with Allison’s birthday party. First of all, the pony we ordered was double booked. Secondly, the puppy we got for Allison won’t get here until tomorrow. Thirdly, Allison’s cousins from Florida can’t make it because their plane was cancelled…And that’s just the beginning! There are even more problems to deal with!”
Tim looked wide eyed at Miranda and groaned, “All of these problems are fixable with the help of the magic medallion aren’t they….”
Miranda smiled, “Yep! And we need your help to make Allison’s birthday party a success!”
Tim put his golf shirt down and said, “Okay. I’m in. You have always been nice enough to let me use the magic medallion over the years. What do you need me to do?”
