In reality the 'river' of mud that Batman found himself being pulled down was really just the run off from some watering that Poison Ivy had done earlier that evening. Nonetheless Batman had to ditch his cape in order to crawl out of the muddy river.
All sorts of strange plants were in this garden now that Batman had a moment to to look at them. Exotic flowers and vines all seemed to be looking at him as he carefully moved through the garden. The uneven ground was making Batman's progress harder, that and he was only 5 inches tall.
After several minutes of not being able to see or hear Ivy, Batman was greeted with the sound of mocking laughter from high above him. He turned around to see Ivy looking down at him a gleeful smile framed with her red hair.
"Oh Batman, you really didn't think you would be able to hid in MY garden did you?" Ivy taunted down at him. "You see my plants know that I will keep them safe, from people like you, so they to let me know just where you were. Now to finish what I started..."
Batman turned to run but a vine shot out from a nearby bush and knocked him over. A second vine tried to grab his leg but a batring was enough to sever it. "How dare you!" Ivy yelled. Ivy brought her boot up and Batman noticed that her sole was covered with a very detailed and lovely vine pattern. Well it would of been lovely if Ivy wasn't about to squash him with her boot. Batman ran but it was hopeless, with vines coming at him faster than he could cut them Batman had no hope of dodging Ivy's eco justice.
Ivy pressed her foot into the soft ground for a moment before she lifted her leg up. There was a sucking sound as the earth released her foot and she admired her boot sharped indent in the ground. The mud had confirmed into the shape of the vines on the bottom of her boot. Except for where Batman was, he was pressed into the mud face up looking at her. His tiny chest sucking in oxygen but he was otherwise subdued.
Ivy smirked "Gottcha Bats, time to make make you one with nature...."
