While Karina developed her project of a time machine James would have to wait, he really wanted to go to the past and change the fate of his father, mostly because his mother Joana was totally heartbroken, and because he had many questions about his father's past and death. He barely knew something about him. But one day of secondary, 8th grade, he got some answers in a strange way...
MARCH 17th, 2024. AT SCHOOL, 12:25 P.M.
James went out of school and walked toward his house, he had some thing to do and to think, Beatrix wasn't his girlfriend yet and he was unaware of her crush on him. James stopped walking when he felt something, the wind changed and there sounded steps, the steps kept growing stronger even when they were soft and almost silent. James turned around and saw nothing, then, a voice spoke from behind
-"Hi James"- James turned around again and said
-"Who the hell are you?!"- He saw nothing again and the voice spoke from behind again
-"Heh...the same attitude...you're just like your father"-
-"Huh?! Show yourself!!"- James shouted and he turned again, he looked at a weird boy, he was wearing black jeans and tennis, a white shirt and a black jacket. His hair was white and long and kept hidden his eyes.
-"Name's Blaze"- the boy said
-"What do you want?! And how can you know about my father?!"-
-"Let's say that he was an old friend of mine..."-
-"You're kidding me...you are just a teenager, older than me but you can't be more than 18!!"- In fact he looked like a 16 teenager
-"Things aren't always what they seem to be"-
-"What's your point?"-
-"I met your father, and I fought him, just to see how strong was he"- James tightened his fists and then Blaze said
-"At first he barely could keep up, but after a year he got stronger and the fight was almost worth to me"- James got silent but his anger began to grow
-"You humans are so weak...and he died by his own weakness and stupidity, sacrificing his life for his wife and you, love is such a foolish human concept... "- Silence from James and Blaze said
-"Let's see if you were worth his sacrifice"- And the fight began...
