It was chemistry class first, so your class then headed to the Chemistry Lab. Everything the old girls' school compound was now gone, and the old and rusty chemistry lab had been refurbished with all the latest in chemical technology. Though for safety reasons, some of the things are beyond your reach.
The lecture went by without incident, though you wished the lecturer was not so long-winded. After the lecture comes the experimental stage, where everyone would emulate what was taught earlier. Your best subject was chemistry, so the task was easy for you.
"Hey Hiroki! Could you come here for a second?"
It was Shizuka calling out to you. Though you don't like her, you still went to her workplace.
"Could you help me have a look at my mixture? I think I might have something wrong."
"OK, fine! Just this once."
You peered at the beaker, which contained a weird pink liquid. Though you wondered how Shizuka created this mixture, you still had a job to do.
"I see the problem. You still need to add this." You picked up a test tube with some grey powder, and handed it to her.
"Could you do it for me, please?" Shizuka's tone suddenly became ridiculously "convincing" enough to do it.
You then sprinkled some of the powder, and the mixture then puffed out a cloud of pink smoke, catching you by surprise. The smell was not awful, but the smoke was depriving you of air, and you coughed your way out of the smoke.
"HA HA HA HA HA! GOTCHA!!!" Shizuka laughed.
"Kinugawa! Be quiet! Iketani, back to your seat!" The lecturer boomed, clearly annoyed by Shizuka's antic.
You gave Shizuka a nasty look, and went back to your seat. Though told to sit back down, Shizuka still could not hold back sneering.
After class, you suddenly felt a weird giddy feeling inside your head, probably from Shizuka's antic. You could not stand still, on the verge of collapsing. As no one was around (everyone had gone to their next class), you collapsed on the corridor without anyone knowing.
You woke up after some time, still woozy from the pink smoke you inhaled. As you got back to your feet and dusted off the dirt on your uniform, you tried to get your book, only to find it the size of a small house. Your worksheets scattered over the floor now feels like huge mounds. You looked up, and find the sky strangely high above. Then, you found out the truth: you had shrunk.
Before you had time to think, you see a huge shoe hovering over you. Someone is about to step on you! Do you dodge it in time?
