The Necklace's Beginning -
This story takes place a year before the original Necklace's Curse. Basically, a pretty 16 year old and amnesiac named Sylvia finds a necklace in a dumpster (sound familiar?). Sylvia doesn't remember her past, but it was heavily tied to this necklace...and she will wear the necklace, as she feels compelled to for some reason. And random things will happen as she embarks on a journey to discover her past and the necklace's past (both of which you can make as random as you want).
With the necklace on, her every random thought becomes true and chaos ensues. Anything can happen and will happen. Just like the first one.
However, this isn't the first one. This is the prequel. So, in this one, none of the events of The Necklace's Curse and it's questionable canon have happened yet.
Sylvia can meet characters from the first one (in fact a character list is below), but they don't know of the necklace or events from the first one (unless the necklace informs them or something like that). Also, they can get the necklace as well, but please remember to keep focused on Sylvia.
I say that, because this story is based around her using the necklace as she discovers the twisted and crazy pasts you make up for her and the necklace. Also, this may or may not explain her behaviour in the normal story...
The Necklace's Beginning Character List:
Sylvia - A pretty 16 year old who happens to go to the same school as Steven, Benjamin and Jill from the first one. Technically, they'd be 16 as well in this one and in the same school. And she's an amnesiac with little knowledge of her past.
Oliver - An annoying 11 year old who happens to be both a prankster and Sylvia's foster brother. And he's a jerk.
Mom and Dad - Sylvia's foster parents. Sylvia doesn't know her real parents (though you can make them up in the story for her). They're usually really kind, but maybe that's all an act...
Other characters from The Necklace's Curse (a year younger due to this story taking place a year earlier):
Steven - 16 year old high school student. Has a stash of comic books. He's a fan, I suppose. Also, he's in love with Jill (though she doesn't care much about him).
Rachel - 11 year old sister of Steven. Loves anime and video games.
Steven's Mom and Dad seem to never be around (doesn't mean you can't bring them in).
Benjamin - 15 year old best friend of Steven. Loves TV and books. Didn't appear much in original, feel free to use him.
Jill - 16 year old cheerleader, ambitious, wants to be head cheerleader (in The Necklace's Curse, she is). Popular, pretty and probably evil.
Samantha - A little girl who likes animals.
Robert - A school jock, wants to be strong(er) and fast(er) and has a girlfriend named Betty in The Necklace's Curse. Betty's status currently is unknown, feel free to do what you want.
April - A beautiful con artist, who became a student at Steven's school at some points in The Necklace's Curse.
Jacob - A video game lover and school geek.
And that's...most of them, anyways.
(Feel free to add anyone from the original not here, but remember, they don't know about the necklace...yet. You could make them learn about the necklace and even use it. Somehow, things revert back to normal and they forget until next year in The Necklace's Curse. You can even explain this weird event if you want.)
The World Of Necklaces -
Similar to the normal story, except EVERYONE has a necklace. Everyone in the world.
College of Craziness -
Again, it's similar to the normal story, except all the underage and teenage characters have been survived the events of the "main story". They're now college age students and in college, but the necklace shows up again...and makes them all the same age (20).
NOTE: In this story, go crazy. As long as there is no underage stuff, do what you want. Due to the nature of this, there may be more "mature content" so you've been warned.  | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
