Chapter #4Kami, the PETITE elf assassin by: Evil Genius   Midnight...
A time for the most vilest of creatures to come out from their dens and perform some of the most deranged and dangrous acts known to the world... One could only imagine what sort of disgusting, ugly, venomous...
"HEY! I THINK THEY GET THE POINT!"
... Ahem... Sorry about that, got a little carried away there Kami...
"Yeesh, you and your dramatics," The young elf girl huffed as she stopped outside her usual bar.
Meet Kami, a young elf girl (still in her teens, so that's really young for an elf) known for her long sandy blonde hair (which was usually tied back into a pair of tails), short and petite body, and the usual scar on the side of her otherwise cute face...
"... Way to emphasize on my figure," Kami sighed as she looked down at the tight, black leather vest, matching skirt, the several belts around her waist (which held her various kinds of weapons for her job) and the black cloak that she usually had to cover the rest of her attire.
Whatever, just get the plot going...
"Yeah, about this plot," Kami muttered rolling her eyes, making sure that those who walked by couldn't see her talking (after all, it looked like she was talking to herself). "You only told me that there was a special job for me to take... What exactly am I supposed to do?"
Just go, you'll find out from your usual informant.
"Whatever," Kami muttered as she quickly turned and entered the bar.
0-0-0-0-0-0-0-0
A few moments later, Kami was seated at a booth table, seated across from her was her usual contact, a rugged human named Genzo, a guy who didn't really care for his appearance save for the white fedora hat he had atop of his greasy black hair.
"So Genzo," Kami started sipping on virgin Bloody Mary (she was only seventeen after all). "What's this job you've got for me?"
"Heh, you're going to fall in love with me for this Kami," Genzo chuckled pulling out a small photograph from his jacket pocket. "I got you a job that'll pay you a ton of dough for this if you're successful..."
Genzo slid the picture across the table, allowing Kami to catch the picture, seeing a rather busty, yet slim, young cowgirl wearing a pair of overalls and a tight shirt that showed off her rather impressive curves.
"..." Kami had a weird look on her face as she turned towards Genzo. "Uh... You want me to off this cow?"
"Heh... Nope," Genzo chuckled wagging a finger. "The girl in the picture named Sally, she dissappeared about a day and a half ago from a small village..."
"So?" Kami questioned tossing the photo to the side. "In case you forgot, while I do find people, I tend to kill them..."
"Oh, wait till I'm done," Genzo continued. "You see, she disappeared yes, but rumors say that she was kidnapped and taken by... And get this, the infamous Lipomancer..."
Kami nearly dropped her drink.
For those of you curious, while the Lipomancer was considered a legend, there were several accounts about his work, and there was evidence to it. Thanks to that, there was a large bounty on this infamous spellcaster if he was taken to any kingdom's head honcho alive...
... Or dead, it didn't really matter as long as the body was successfully retrieved.
"So... You want me to go to that girl's village," Kami smirked as she cackled, catching her drink. "And find the Lipomancer... Should be an easy job..."
"Now hold up," Genzo coughed holding his hand up. "There are a few conditions that you should know about. One, make sure you find Sally, and bring her back to the village. For a dirt town, there's actually quite a bulky reward if she comes back alive and in semi-mint condition. Turns out she's the gem of that dirt town...
"Two, you should be careful... You're not the first girl to go after this Lipomancer. If it looks like you're getting in over your head..."
"Yeah, yeah," Kami interrupted before she drained the rest of the virgin bloody mary down her throat. "Just give me the information, and I'll get started on the job!"
Genzo sighed loudly as he produced an envelope, "There's a stage coach leaving in thirty minutes. It'll get you to the village before the sun comes up tomorrow... I suggest you get some sleep before you do your head-hunting."
"Thanks Genzo," Kami announced as she jumped from her seat, snatching the envelope. "You'll get your cut as soon as I get back..."
"... If you get back, promise me a date..." Genzo chuckled...
