But suddenly you are feeling much better and continue your way. You were driving to Megan's house to see her father. You know how depressed he has been since the accident. "I wish I could help some way" you say to yourself.
You arrive at her father’s house where you find a moving truck out front. You walk inside where you find boxes in every room. "Hey Tony, what is going on?" you ask. Soon enough, he emerges. "Hey Alex, nice to see you" he responds. You follow him to the living room. You always had a very good relationship with him.
"So, you're moving?" you ask. "Yeah, I'm going back to California. I recently had a talk with Dawn, Megan's mother, and we have agreed to live together again" he says.
"Wow that’s big news, congratulations" you respond. You see all the boxes full of stuff. "I'll miss you though, both of you" you say, also talking about Megan. "You're a good man Alex. I'm sure she was happy to have a man like you" Tony says with a tear in his eye.
"Hey Alex, can I ask you something?" asks Tony.
"Sure, what is it?" you respond.
"I don’t know what your plans are for the next month or so, you know with summer starting and everything but, would you mind coming with me?" he asks.
"What?" replies Alex.
"It would be nice if you could help with the move and also give us some more company over the summer" says Tony.
Alex thinks about it and thinks that it is not a bad idea. "Sure, sounds like fun" he says.
"Thank you" replies Tony.
A couple days later, Alex and Tony were onboard an airplane headed to California. Upon exiting, they drove down to the beach house where the family stayed during the summer.
You eventually reach the beach house where the rest of the family was. There was Megan's mother, Dawn, and her little sister, Emily. They both knew Alex and took a liking to him. They welcomed him to stay at their beach house.
