"Thank you so much. We can't take care of her back in California right now so please take care of her until she can come to us. Although, that might not be for a long time" says Tony. You understand of course.
Days later, Tony and the movers leave for California, leaving Emily behind. Emily was sad that her father was leaving her, but she knew Alex would take care of her.
"I know I can't be the older sibling Megan was but I'll try" said Alex. Emily smiled at that and hugged him. Both of them went inside Alex's house. All of Emily's things were moved into a small room.
