She had read about this experiment, and they were gonna pay her 5,000 for her troubles. When her and the 10 people were called in, a doctor began to tell them experiment.
"Hello, my name is Dr John Perry." The doctor explained his PhD background, and all that stuff that Linda wasn't listening to anyway.
"This is how this experiment will work. We will give you an injection. What the concept of this is, is that it will allow you, as humans, to absorb sunlight, and gain energy in the same way plants do. It will use the cardon dioxide already in your system's to do this and produce sugar. All the tests we have done, only 1% of the rats tested were able to get some energy, and it was minimal, with, literally, no side effects." The Doctor flipped his chart open. "Are assumption is that all of you will simply pass the injection through their urine, so you must make sure you collect urine samples everytime you urinate, for a week."
They were told 5 volunteers would be control groups, and the injections wouldn't have any effect.
Linda was one of the 5 who got the actual injection. Not only that, she was the only one to get the ability to photosynthesize. There were some side effects though...Even though it seemed as though the plant DNA passed through her system, and she was let go, Linda found that she was craving the sunlight. She would open the shades in her room, and lay nude in the sunlight for as long as she could, and imagined herself growing taller, just like a plant would.
After a few weeks, Linda began to notice that she was feeling very full of energy. Her hair and skin looked healthier, she felt stronger, she felt great. Her body had even gained a bit more curves to it, as her 34b bra wasn't fitting like it use to.
