Sarah had to walk outside to get some fresh air. Vanessa was always able to get under her skin, and she was incredibly sick of it. "Only 3 months..." Sarah told herself, counting down the days until she was out of the hell hole that was high school. Standing outside, she had a few minutes to kill before class started.
She glanced over to the side, and saw a guy stumbling up to her. Sarah focused a bit more, and saw that he was bleeding, and stumbling. "Oh God!" Sarah said, and ran up to the guy, who looked to be around her age. As Sarah approached him, he fell to the ground. He was clasping something in his hand, but Sarah couldn't make out what it was. "Oh God...just...don't move, I'll call an ambulance!" Just as she was about to leave, the guy grabbed her pant leg, and then his hand went limp. Sarah took a step back. The guy rolled onto his back, and Sarah just stared, as he clutched the object close to his chest, and smiled. Suddenly, there was a bright flash, which engulfed the whole school. The whole event happening as close as possible to the middle of the school while still being outside.
Sarah opened her eyes slowly, and saw that the guy was no longer there...
