With a sigh, Supergirl says "oh, alright" before leaving the room. To think Zatanna wouldn't be of help to her. It wasn't something she expected.
Thinking about this, Supergirl heads off. She goes to Metropolis in hopes of clearing her head over the entire ordeal. Although she respects Zatanna, Supergirl wishes that Zatanna had just given her what she wanted. Maybe then she wouldn't feel so bad.
As she soars in the air, Supergirl can't help but hear a faint sound that's almost familiar to her. Wanting to investigate, Supergirl heads to the direction of the voice. It becomes more defined as she travels towards it. To Supergirl, the voice appears to be that of a friend, someone she has met before. But something is off.
Arriving at the location of the voice, Supergirl stops and scans the area. She hasn't really been here before, but that's not what bothers her. There is something going on and she wants answers. Right now she is at the bank, and the voice she heard is around here somewhere.
Her eyes soon stop on what appears to be Starfire. She is a fellow heroine making her way out in this world. For a while, Starfire wasn't able to understand human customs, but with the help of her friends, she managed to get accustomed to human culture and everyday activities.
Starfire sports revealing clothing, yet Starfire has become a person who many refuse to dislike. None of how she dresses matters to her. She just has a good personality. For a while, Supergirl has heard how she and Nightwing are currently dating. Because of this, Supergirl feel a bit of jealousy.
Supergirl watches as the heroine strike a confident pose while watching all the other people get to work. "Come on everyone, get your backs into it. The money has to get into the van, now" Starfire states. The orange heroine watches as everyone follows her orders and places bags of money into the black van. All of this is a bit too weird.
Supergirl then asks her friend "Starfire? What are you doing here?"
Starfire turns around and looks at the person daring to question her motives. A look of surprised is expressed on her face. She never thought that. "Superbrat!? What are you doing here?"
For some reason, Starfire sounded strange to you. It was as though she slipped up somehow. Knowing that something is off, you hover towards her. "Stop acting like this. We're heroes, not bossy dictators. You're going to have to come with me."
"Are you serious!? What, is it my costume? Is it too showy for you?"
"No, I uh, it looks great." Supergirl looks away from Starfire. She looks down at her own chest and then Starfire's body. "I mean, I've wanted to go for a sexier look for quite some time. But that's beside the point. We need to speak about this with the League"
"Don't tell me what to do! Go back to the justice kids where you belong" Starfire shouts. She clenches her fists as she tells Supergirl off. "I am busy with something!"
Supergirl realizes that Starfire is not acting as her carefree self. Instead, she is acting like a criminal who has had her plans ruined. Confronting her, Supergirl says "who are you and what have you done with Starfire."
A sudden smirk appears on Starfire's face. Starfire voice changes from her usual one to that of a french accent and a different sound. "So you've figured it out, eh girl wonder."
Surprised, Supergirl could only say "What the..." as she looked over at Starfire.
"Never thought I would be found out. Perhaps it's best I handle everything right now." Starfire then charges towards Supergirl and lands a hit with her fist.
"Gah" Supergirl shouts as she gets sent flying.
Starfire watches as she sees the impact she has made on Supergirl. To think she had it in her. The faux Starfire then looks at her hand "so the experiment were a success. Now I can fully play any role I wish." She soon flies towards Supergirl and launches a rubbery blitz of punches. "What better way for me, Madame Rouge, than to test it out on the wonder brat?"
Supergirl takes it all in, unable to deal with the several strikes dealt with. For a moment, she tries to fight them off, but unfortunately one punch from behind knocks her out. "Supergirl, you should give up now while you have the chance." The faux Starfire declares. She watches Supergirl crash through the side of a building while knocked out.
Rouge comes over to Supergirl, still in the guise of Starfire. For now, she has defeated the heroine. Rouge grins at this opportunity. Without knowing how long before Supergirl wakes up, Rouge decides to act.
"It is over Supergirl, I have won this fight." Rouge shifts from her Starfire persona into that of Supergirl. Now Rouge looks like an exact duplicate of her foe. "Now that I have defeated you, I shall play the role you failed to uphold."
Looking exactly like heroine, Madame Rouge stands triumphant in her new form. "To think I managed to pull it off." She then stares at the unconscious heroine before her with a smirk on her face. All of this has been a great opportunity to test her acting skills with her powers. A great opportunity has been granted to her.
"I've played that role for far too long." The imposter then looks at herself. "Now this form, I can enjoy being."
Changing her hand into a large mallet, Madame Rouge plans to dispose of Supergirl before she somehow ruins her plans. With a grin on her face, the imposter revels in defeating her opponent once and for all. "Say goodbye Supergirl" Rouge says in her own accent and voice. Rouge stops after she gets close to the heroine. For some reason, she begins struggling with herself. What appears to be her original form starts coming out of her body. "You again! I thought I got rid of you!" The Supergirl imposter can't help but grow angrier at this lookalike version of her real self.
"No matter what, you evil me, I will defeat you!" This Rouge tries her best to entangle the imposter Supergirl with her powers, hoping to kill her. The fake falls back while struggling with her clone while Supergirl is still knocked out. Everything then becomes a blur.
