This choice: Ask the naga sorceress to make her a human • Go Back... Rin knew it was likely the human would run away from her, since she was a naga, before she got the chance to talk to him; so she decided to ask for help from the sorceress.
Czarina, the naga sorceress, lived deep in the heart of the forest away from the other nagas who lived closer to the edges. The dark stories about her kept popping into Rin’s mind, pleading for her to go back, but she pressed ahead. If anyone could help her it would be Czarina.
“Hello. Anyone here?” Rin called out when she reached the ancient and abandoned human castle where Czarina lived.
“Welcome child, to what do I owe this pleasure?” Czarina replied as she slithered from the forest behind Rin. Czarina was incredibly old, but the only sign of her age was her long silver hair, otherwise she appeared no older than 25. Like many nagas she didn’t wear clothes, but she wore a gold necklace studded with gems, most were oddly dull and colorless, but there were a few that were vibrant and stunning.
“I- I came to ask for your help.” Rin stuttered nervously.
There’s no need to be afraid child. Now tell me: what is your problem?” Czarina said comfortingly, slithering around Rin and beckoning her to follow.
“Well, I’m supposed to select my mate, but the only one I’m interested in is a human.” Rin said as she slithered after Czarina into the castle.
“Ah, I see.” Czarina said as she lay on a couch in the entry room, “So you wish to be human, of for him to be a naga.”
“Yes, preferably… preferably turn me into a human.’ Rin said, almost chocking on the words.
“Intriguing, most nagas would abhor the idea of becoming human.” Czarina said.
“Can you do it? Or rather, will you do it?” Rin pleaded.
“Very well, but my services don’t come freely.” Czarina answered.
“Of course, what is your fee?” Rin asked hopefully.
Czarina smiled, “My fee is…”
