Before Baren could decide on what to do next, a large shadow overcast his diminutive figure. " Hey, are you okay? That's a pretty nasty burn you got there." a pleasantly innocent female voice asked. Based on this woman's height and tone of voice, Baren could judge her at being in her late twenties, maybe early thirties.
"Yeah I'm fine." Baren replied, hesitantly; still trying to process everything that had just happened in his mind. As Baren gazed up, his eyes connected with the deepest, most maternal set of ocean-blue eyes he had ever seen. With a little more eye wandering, Baren was able to see that his inquisitive guest was wearing a rather formal attire, probably because she was heading to or from work. Baren's first thought concerning this lovely woman passed through his mind,' Man, anyone would be lucky to have a mom like that.'
Immediately, the young woman's face changed from that of a concerned stranger to one of a caring mother. "Oh, Baren, baby, are you okay?" she asked, pulling you into a strong hug.
