May wraps herself with some blankets and grabs her backpack, "you never know what could be out there". Then, May slowly grabs the doorknob and opens the door. She could hear some noises from outside already.
When she opens the door, May is greated by the sound of hundreds of people screaming and comotion in every deck of the ship. As she makes her way into the ship's corridor, the entire ship starts to shake and May hears someone far into the upper decks screaming "the ship is out of control! We are all doomed!"
Desperate, May runs to the upper deck and is greated with a sight she thought only possible on a grotesque dream. Hundreds of the ship's crew and the passagers where all transformed into some hybrid between a human and a pokemon!
People crying, thinking and even desperate for this terrible dream to end, all there at the main deck while the ship itself seemed to be out of control, maybe the captain and his crew where unable to keep the journey.
May had to figure out a way to get out of this ship. She looked around and everywhere she looked she saw more and more people, now turned hybrids, having a variety of reactions from the changes.
Then, May noticed that the ship was close to a port, but at this rate the ship would pass by and keep going into the ocean. If she was to get to civilization any time soon it would have to be now, she could jump the cruise ship and swim to the shores, but May was afraid of what people would think of her in this form, she didn't know if this transformation insident was isolated or more people would know about it, and she was afraid of being captured and taking part some kind of bizarre test.
