After he explained who needed what, you stayed silent as several minutes passed, trying to make up your mind. "I can always put you in the worm, you know." The man said impatiently.
You were not really fond of any of the options, but you knew you wanted to avoid being fed to a bird. Hesitating, you knew which one you would go with. "I guess," you trail off , "I guess I'll go with Susan Burkawitz."
"Are you sure?" The silhouette asked. "You'll be stuck as her until you manage to get her a boyfriend -- no sooner nor later."
"Yeah, I might as well since I have no clue how to deal with a pregnancy or divorce, and I am not very fond of the idea of being a sixth grader again. That leaves a toss up of finding a boyfriend or a job."
"If you are sure, then we will begin." He started to lift his hands.
"Wait!" You shout as he stops and stares at you. "What happens to my body during all of this." You ask gesturing all around.
"Oh, don't worry." He lifted his hands again. "While you are helping Susan, she will be living your life as if nothing was ever amiss."
Before you could say anything back, you felt a strange sensation of falling. Normally, you might have been flailing wildly or screaming, but you found yourself unable to move or scream at all. Suddenly, you could feel yourself becoming physical again. You went from an eerie unfeeling to the sensation of air coming in through your nostrils as your oddly weighted chest raised and lowered as the air left through whence it came.
