The agent then separated Carrie and Mark Owens into different rooms. Carrie seemed excited to swap bodies so Mark could finally understand how hard her life was. It would certainly help with their marriage. The agent made Carrie lay down and hooked a few wires up. He explained that Mark was in the adjacent room and once they activated the procedure, they would swap bodies. But before activating the body swap machine, the agent handed Carrie a screen. Carrie noticed it was an exact image of Mark's body. The agent said, "You can change anything on this screen to adjust your husband's body. Then when you swap bodies, you will be him but with the requested changes on the screen.
Carrie gave the screen back immediately, "I'm perfectly fine with becoming Mark the way he is. That's the man I originally fell in love with. So it would be best if became him the way he is."
Once the process was started, Carrie momentarily blacked out. She awoke moments later and sat up in Mark's body. She took a moment to regain her senses. She looked in the mirror to recognize Mark's face staring back. She then walked out to see how things went for Mark. Carrie was shocked to see that Mark took advantage of the custom option. Her modest B cup breasts were now double D's. Her freckles were now all gone. Carrie noticed here body seemed skinnier buy yet curvier. It also looked like she was 3 or 4 inches taller.
Carrie walked up to her old body and scowled, "You gotta be kidding me?"
Mark could easily tell Carrie hadn't made any changes to his body. Mark assumed she would have done what he did and give upgrades to each other. Carrie pointed to Mark, "How are we going to explain THIS to our family and friends. Everybody is going to wonder what happened to my body!"
The agent interrupted, "That shouldn't be an issue. Our body modification program has been very popular in our society for years. I'm sure you both know people who have come in for upgrades." Carrie agreed, "I guess so." Carrie then examined her former body closer. She let out a laugh, "I guess I could live with those new cute curves. But there's no way I'm keeping those enormous boobs once I'm back in my body!"
The agent then explained, "That will be up to you if you two decide to swap back." Carrie asked, "What to you mean IF? I think you meant to say WHEN. We agreed on the Body Swapping Program because we thought it would help save our marriage by living life from each other's prospective for awhile. We only agreed to try it for a month and see if we fixed our relationship. Even if this doesn't work out, we are going to swap back to our normal bodies before getting divorced."
The agent interrupted, "I understand your plans. However, as far as the law is concerned, you are legally each other now. The paperwork you signed before swapping bodies releases our company of any responsibility dealing with future lawsuits. I know you mutually agreed to return here after your experiment and return back to your original bodies. But as we've learned from past clients, life seems to throw curve balls. In case one of you doesn't want to swap back, or if something drastic happens to your original body while the other person has it, Bodies Inc. is not responsible for damages. As far as the law is concerned, you two just legally swapped identity's forever. "
Mark and Carrie were absorbing everything the agent said. A different agent came up and said, "Don't let him scare you. Most couples that do this program end up coming back to swap. I'm sure you will be just fine." The agent escorted them out the door he smiled, "Let me be the first to welcome you to your new lives! I wish you both the best of luck with fixing your marriage. I hope to see you both back here soon!"
