As you exit your room, you run into Karen. "Oh, there you are." she says. She then looks down and sees the PAID on your wrist. "You got one too?" she says as she holds up her arm to show you her PAID. "I woke up and saw this thing on my wrist. And not just me. My sister Stephanie has one too."
"You think this thing actually does what it says it can do?" you ask her.
"I don't know. Stephanie says she doesn't though." Karen replied.
"Hey!" Matt called out as he ran down the hallway, followed by Kate and Amanda.
"Kate, you know Mom will yell at you guys if she saw you running in the house." you tell her.
"Sorry. But we just wanted to see if you two woke up with one of these too." Kate said holding up her arm. Sure enough, Kate, Amanda, and Matt each had a PAID around their wrists as well.
"You guys too?" you ask them.
"Uh-huh." Matt said as he nodded his head. "You think it really works?"
"We don't know." you tell him.
"Can we test them out?" he asks hopefully.
"Ithink it would be best to wait." you tell him.
"C'mon, lets go get some breakfast." Karen says, and you and the kids follow her downstairs. As you walk into the kitchen, you mom is just finishing breakfast. At the table, you see your older brother Zack sitting there, with a PAID as well. He sees yours but doesn't say anything. Stephanie is also there, as well as your dad. Neither of your arents seem to have a PAID, so you understand why Zack isn't saying anything. Everyone sat at the table, enjoying breakfast. You contemplate what to do with the PAID. Theres no school today, so your free for the most part. Suddenly, everyone's PAIDs activate.
