The Empire of Britannia fought for world domination. Nothing had seemed to be able to stop them, but one day, the mysterious Zero appeared in Area 11 and led a rebellion which was growing stronger every day. Zero, who was actually Lelouche, a former Britannian prince. If things continue that way, he might even be able to stop the empire. V2 could not let that happen. He had to make sure his and his brother’s plan would succeed. Luckily, after years of research, the order had found a way to create a new kind of Geass. A Geass that would not influence people’s minds, but reality itself. He did not know yet if it would work and how powerful that Geass would be, but surely no-one would be able to rival such power. Unfortunately, V2 was not able to gain a Geass himself, so he had to find another person to bestow it onto. And he already had the right person in mind.
The city had been evacuated as the rebellion army approached. They had secured the place and now, they were taking cover between the buildings. The Tokyo settlement was near, but the Britannian army blocked their way. Their enemies were about to attack, so Zero was waiting, using the terrain to his advantage. They would crush the enemy troops and then, they could attack the settlement directly. Soon, Area 11 would be free. Then, hope would spread across the world and more rebellions would break out. Zero smiled behind his mask. Victory was getting closer with each passing day.
„Zero, the enemy started his attack, but…“ It was Kallen. She approached Zero, but something seemed wrong.
„What is it?“, he asked.
„Well, only one Knightmare is attacking. The rest of the army is still waiting.“
„What? Is it Suzaku, again?“ Confused, Zero went outside to get a clearer view of the situation. It was true. One single Knightmare was approaching. But it was not his friend and rival. Instead, it was the personal Knightmare of Cornelia. „Is this some kind of trap?“ Zero’s thoughts were racing. Was it a decoy? But why? Anyway, he had to act, fast. Cornelia’s Knightmare had already entered the city and showed no sign of stopping. „Attack!“, Zero commanded. The Knightmares positioned nearby opened fire and destroyed the enemy’s vehicle with ease. Zero took a binocular and looked closer. Impossible, in between the Knightmare-wreck stood Cornelia, unharmed. Not even her clothes were damaged, save for some dust on them. „What kind of trick is this?“
Then, to Zero’s horror, he saw a red Geass blinking in Cornelia’s eyes. But before he was able to recover from this shock, something else happened that made his jaw drop. Cornelia started growing. First slowly, then speeding up until she stopped at around 200 feet tall. „Today, this little rebellion ends. Surrender now. If you insist on struggling, you will be crushed like the insects you are!“, she declared with one hand on her hips and a superior smile on her face.
Zero finally closed his mouth and gritted his teeth. That was unexpected, but he would not fail just because his enemy surprised him. „She might be bigger, but that does not make her invincible! Attack her with full strength! Show the Britannians that the higher you are, the deeper you will fall!“ Encouraged by the words of their leader, the rebels overcame their shock, let out numerous battle cries and started shooting.
However, Cornelia was way faster than her size should allow her to be. She dashed forward as multiple rockets exploded behind her. She crushed the closest Knightmare under one of her boots, then kicked another one into a building. Still, she was standing in the middle of the rebel’s Knightmares and bullets were hailing on her from all directions.
But to his frustration, Zero had to find out that Cornelia’s skin seemed to have gotten more resistant as well. Most bullets just bounced off and yet… He smiled triumphantly as he saw that after a while, wounds started to form on her body. Cornelia’s face changed from furious to painful. She looked around, saw a gab between two buildings and dashed through it, kicking the Knightmares which were positioned there away. „She must not flee!“, Zero shouted. The rebels charged after her, continuing their assault.
But suddenly, Cornelia stopped, taking cover behind a tall building. Then, her voice echoed again across the city. „It seems I was over-confident. I thought I could take you out at that size, but I was wrong. Well then, how about this?“ With that, her Geass was glowing again. The rebels stopped and watched in awe and horror, as the princess was growing again. Higher and higher she rose into the air, until her head was visible over the building. The Knightmares which had charged after her turned around and fled from the princess of battle, who was now more like a goddess of war. An angry goddess.
Zero cursed as he had to watch helplessly when Cornelia ran towards the city’s center again, casually crushing Knightmares under her boots. Each of her steps made the ground shake and the few rockets that were shot by some remaining brave soldiers just bounced off ineffectively. Kallen looked at the 1000 feet Britannian princess, then at Zero. „W…what should we do?“ „Let me think!“ Zero turned around, walking in circles. The noise created by Cornelia’s footsteps made it hard for him to focus. They could not face her openly anymore. She was just too big. But they had been prepared for an attack of a superior foe. Of course, they were thinking of a large army, not a giant woman, but still, the traps they had build should also work on her.
„Detonate the bombs in the underground structure!“ Under the city, there was a vast and deep network of tunnels. The sewers, but also remains of some underground facilities. Upon detonating the bombs, the ground beneath Cornelia gave in and she fell. To her, it was not deep, but she still sank in almost to her knees. That was enough to make her fall. „Now, the buildings!“ More bombs exploded and let the surrounding buildings collapse upon the titanic princess. She screamed in pain. „Now, finish her off!“ Filled with new hope, the rebels opened fire on Cornelia again. After almost a minute of shooting, Zero commanded them to stop.
As the dust lifted, a victorious smile formed on his face. Cornelia lay there, covered in wreckage, multiple wounds on her body. „You did it!“, Kallen said happily. Zero nodded, but then, another thought crossed his mind. „The Britannian army!“ He looked again toward the enemy, but their troops still did not move. Then, he could feel his blood freeze as he heard a rumbling noise. Looking down on Cornelia, he had to watch in shock as she slowly rose up again. You could see her feeling pain with every move, but her wounds were slowly disappearing. Then, as she looked up, directly staring at the rooftop of the highest building, Zero’s current position, the rebel leader had to take a step back. Cornelia’s face was a mask of pure anger. „Zero!“, she screamed. „You will pay for this!“ Zero could feel his hands starting to shake as he had to watch powerlessly when Cornelia made her next move.
