Rouge taught she could use the ring to teach Cream how to sneak and fight properly, but her body wasn't prepared to do it immediately. She had to personally teach Cream, especially using techniques that uses and protects her ears so she wouldn't have to worry about not being able to fly. Not only that, she taught her how to use suggestion to mess with people, using either Rouge's technique or her own innocent look. Much to Rouge's surprise, Cream was a quick learner.
While they were training, Rouge assigned a project to Vanilla. Rouge had a spare uniform for Cream, but she was way too small for it. It was Vanilla's job to scale it down. Using the skills she got as a mother, she got the uniform to fit Cream perfectly. It was exactly the same as Rouge's except the pink parts were orange like her dress and the heart breastplate pressed against her torso, seeing as she nothing to work with unlike Rouge or Vanilla.
With eyeliner and quite a bit of dark teal eyeshadow, Cream had the look that of a thief and Rouge's apprentice. Vanilla asked her mistress if Cream was going on a heist soon, eager to get down to business. Rouge confirmed that they were ready to make to next move, the only problem was what? While this was a good start, it wasn't much of a team. She could do with more followers. Or she could use their innocence to sabotage their friends. Like Tails, even if he's smart, he was always gullible. They could nab a handful of his strange machines, and maybe a Chaos Emerald if they're lucky. He always seems to have one.
