Anna, the girl that Dora captured, gazed at the dridder with wide, fearful eyes. She had heard all sorts of terrifying stories of the dridders that live in the swamps near the farm she lived and worked at. There was still webbing over her mouth so she couldn’t yell for help or beg for the dridder’s mercy.
Dora gazed at the human girl. She could tell the girl was frightened, given the rate she was breathing. “Don’t worry, I’m not going to harm you.” Dora said softly as she caressed the girl’s cheek. She saw the girl’s eyes take on a confused expression, obviously she didn’t expect this or was wary of deception. Though Dora had no intention of harming the young girl, she couldn’t simply let her go; she’d tell the other humans about her and they’d hunt her down. Dora needed to do something with this girl, but what?
