Corporal Muck - Golem
Animated clay imbued with magic, the golem eventually known as Muck did a lot of the dirty jobs that people didn't want to do. One of these jobs was mucking out the stalls of its owner's valuable, and violent, horses. However, it seems that its owner fell afoul where the Tax Laws were concerned, and had said horses, and the golem itself, confiscated. Rutabaga found out about the golem, and requisitioned it from storage to act as a guard at the Jail House, as few could escape from a golem that had been given a Capture Order for very long. Eventually, a spell was found to give the golem Free Will, as well as other golems. Since its last job was mucking out stalls, the golem was called Muck. Muck was soon placed on Riot Duty, as well as Fire-Fighting duty, to say nothing about regular Patrol Duty.
Guard Gre - Lizardman
Gre is a lizard person. When it comes to lizard person biology, biology is rather tricky. In fact, it's advised to employers to hire males and females in equal numbers. This is because they have a unique survival trait, as a race. If the ratio of male to female isn't about equal, it is possible for the lizard's gender to change from male to female, and female to male, as well as the reverse. The process takes about three days. After that, the population increases. This occurs even if small groups of lizard people are out of touch with other members of their own kind for longer than a few weeks, which is why it is best for lizard people to travel with friends, so that when a Gender Change does occur, they are among friends who won't take advantage of their situation, too much. Gre was partnered with another lizard, Res, to whom the Gender Change did occur to. Luckily, they were friends, but it still resulted in a fertilized egg. Now Gre has to deal with becoming a father fairly soon, all while trying to protect the city.
Guard Kess - Snakeman
Kess is a snake person, with a humanoid upper body, and a snake lower body that is as thick as a human's body and over thirty feet long, and is extremely strong, although he tends to be gentle. In addition to his strength, he can also produce several types of venom, from ones that can either paralyze the target and/or put them to sleep, to those that can kill, some of which are rather painless, to those that are extremely painful. He is also very snake-like where his eating habits are concerned, although sapient prey is off the menu, for the most part.
