The small X-wing fighter flew past the last moon of Dagobah as entered into its atmosphere. A small light began to flash, indicating that the landing site was within the glide slope of the incoming aircraft, and that the pilot and co-pilot had to trim the airspeed in order to ensure a smooth landing.
“Alright! Reduce speed by thirty percent, Jake! Don’t make us come in too fast, or else we’ll end up landing in the middle of a swamp!” Luke ordered to his co-pilot, who happened to be his nephew and his apprentice.
“Gotcha, Uncle Luke!” the teenager replied, as he adjusted the controls. “Reduce speed by thirty percent, Artoo!” Jake Skywalker ordered his R2D2 unit, who was positioned behind him in the X-wing fighter.
The engines lowered their output as the small jet came in and prepared for landing.
“Ready for a great week of camping and training, champ?” Luke Skywalker asked the boy. Luke was now the Jedi Master, and he had taken the young boy under his wing so that he could teach him the ways of the Force by starting out on the planet where he had first met the great Jedi Master, Yoda, many years earlier.
“Yes, I can’t wait to get started, Uncle Luke!” Jake replied. Jake was fifteen years old; he was short with short, black hair.
The X-wing swooped down, scoped out the familiar landing site, and set down on the grassy field right near the edge of the swamp. Once the plane had landed, Luke and Jake allowed their canopies to raise up, so they could climb out and explore the planet’s surface.
“Wow! We’re here!” Jake smiled, as he removed his helmet and looked around.
Luke walked ahead of him, and headed towards a cavern, where he saw a faint, blue glow.
“Normally, I would set up a fire in here, but I just noticed this weird, blue light. I had never noticed that before. I wonder what it is.” Luke noted, as he entered the cavern and started walking towards the light.
“Is it dangerous?” Jason asked him.
“I’m not sure… I can’t remember this light being here last time I was here, which was a few years ago!” Luke responded.
When Luke walked a little further, he spotted a large rock, which was about five feet tall, which had a bright, blue sphere sitting on top of it. The sphere was glowing bright blue, and it was even humming!
“That sphere… It… It is powered by… The Force!” Luke noted. “I… I can feel it!”
“Really? Are you sure?” Jake wondered out loud.
“The Force is very strong in that sphere! It’s everywhere around us! It’s already surrounding our bodies!” Luke observed.
“Uncle Luke… Is… Is that good, or bad? Is it doing anything to us?” Jake wondered. “I’m beginning to feel warm all over…”
“I’m not sure what or how this will affect us… Come, let’s go back to the ship…” Luke remarked.
Luke and Jake then turned around and walked out of the cavern. They would set up camp, and prepare something to eat.
That night, they would already begin to notice some differences to their bodies…
